CLASS A

Class A returns 16 runners who had individual speed ratings of 130 or higher
... 14 Class A runners are profiled above.

Tsadia Bercuvitz enters the 2025 XC season as the top speed-rated Class A runner 
and the top-rated overall runner in NY State ... Bercuvitz has the highest individual
speed rating (153) of all runners which she achieved at the McQuaid Invitational.

Leyla Bhusri had 4 speed ratings in the 140s ... Melia Kupchanko and Fiona King
also had speed ratings in the 140s.

Other talented Class A runners seem capable up stepping-up and challenging for a
podium position at the State Class A race.

Shenendehowa and Bethlehem both have 5 runners listed below ... highest ratings for
each are: Bethlehem (138-137-133-111-110) and Shenendehowa (142-129-121-119-118).

Sloan Wasserman enters the 2025 XC season as the top speed-rated Class B
runner in NY State ... she was 2nd at State Class B last year and is the top
returning runner from the Class B race ... good track performances also indicate
a good upcoming XC season.

There are four other returning Class B runners with a speed rating of 129 to 134
... Cali Gabrielson has the 2nd best retuning individual speed rating followed
by Joanna Kenney ... Sayla Fives is the #2 returning Class B from the State Meet.

I always expect others will step-up and contend.

CLASS C

Class C seems open and a fair number of runners could contend for the top-spot and 
the podium positions.

Overall speed ratings suggests little separates the top five runners listed below.
Emma Lewis has the highest individual speed rating and she is an annual Class C
contender ... Hannah Governor is a definite contender (also has good recent track
performances) ... Avery Grant finished 4th at last year's Class C race and is the
top returning runner from that race (followed by Savannah Schmidt).
