3rd fastest high school girl's time ever at Franklin Field (behind Sydney
Masciarelli and Shalane Flanagan) ... she then qualified easily at
Eastbay Northeast before running at Eastbay Nationals (DNF result).
Ellie had some outstanding indoor &
outdoor track results ... she set the Sophomore Indoor National
Record at 2-Miles (9:52.35) at New Balance Nationals and the
following day won a solo 5000 meter race in 15:49.47 (6th fastest
ever by a high school girl indoors + outdoors ... It approximates to
an XC speed rating of 166, and that gets her my #1 ranking) ..... During outdoor track, Ellie ran
a
1500m race in 4:14.35 which ranks in top 10 individual HS girls
all-time.

HS Newspaper, "After running in the CIF Cross Country Championship,
Williams’ parents drove her four hours that day to Arroyo Grande High
School for the CIF Water Polo Championship. She played an impressive
game for the Acalanes varsity water polo team with a goal and an assist."
