Runners come by the Pit twice ... the first time, runners go straight and bear slightly to the right up an incline and around the trees to the left as shown by the yellow line ... the second time is a right-hand turn ... the Pit is actual a gravel pit that can fill with water after a heavy rain (the first loop could be 6" standing water) ... the Pit is 825 meters into the race. |
