| 02-PumpShed ... the small shed at the left is the pump house for field irrigation ... this field (about 60 acres) with the dirt/grass roads is used by SUNY-ESF (Environmental Science and Forestry) to experiment with "fast-growth" trees and biomass ... runners pass this Pump Shed twice --- first time, runners go straight and turn left at the next dirt road ... the distance from the Start Line to the shed is about 0.3 miles. |
