 CLASS A

Entering last year's XC season (2022), only two returning Class A runners had overall
speed ratings in the 180s or an individual speed rating in the 180s or higher .....
Entering the upcoming XC season (2023), four returning Class A runners have overall
speed ratings and seven have individual speed ratings of 180 or higher!

Nolan McGinn is only returning NY State runner with an individual speed rating in the
190s, and he did it 3 times last year ... Ethan Green is top returning runner from
last year's State XC Class A race (with Nolan McGinn #2 and Jake Passalugo #3) ...
Logan Schaeffler, Jake Gogarty and others are contenders ..... Ten Class A runners
are profiled above.

A group of Class A returners have individual speed rating in the 170s, and some of
these are likely to improve ... It happened last year.
