2020, she set the National HS 5000m Track Record (15:34.47,
which approximates to a speed rating of 171.51) ... Had an
abbreviated outdoor Track season that was side-lined by an injury ...
Jenna is the obvious #1 ranked runner entering the 2021 XC season
... Assuming good health, she could definitely challenge Melody

which approximates to a speed rating of 165.6). |

(4:43.73) ... The next day, she traveled to the NSAF Outdoor
Nationals in Eugene, Oregon and won the 5000 meter championship
race in 16:10.42 which smashed the National Freshmen Record (it
also approximates to a speed rating of 159.53 ... a big reason
she's ranked so highly) ... I don't know if she will be racing for the
high school or with the Emerging Elites Team. |

to place her in terms of rankings ... I don't know what school she will
be attending (assuming it's near Ventura, CA??) ... Sadie did run
well during fall XC, but never raced high school girls, or any distance
above 4K, or any 5K track races ... I did look at some of her 4K XC
races, and my best guess was speed ratings in the mid-130s (with one
possibly in the low 140s) ... No recent Track marks at 3200 meters or
above ... Sadie is obviously fast based on her Mile times ... and
she is definitely worth watching this coming fall ... Before
ranking her by my XC handicapping process, I need to see some actual
relevant XC results which do not currently exist. |
