How To Read the Table Information: The number following the name is the school grade for the 2013 XC season. The "Class" in parentheses pertains to the 2013 XC season. The XC data listed below the name are, in order, the race name, race date, place, actual race time, and speed rating (higher is faster). Selected track data are also listed for most runners. My Boys XC performance database and Boys track & field performance database are available on separate web-pages.

Mickey Burke 12 Rush-Henrietta (Section 5 - Class A)

Mickey Burke had a super junior season in XC ... he was 2nd at States (Class A), 2nd at NXN-NY Regional and an excellent 13th at NXN Nationals ... also won a varsity division at Manhattan.

Continued to run very well during both track seasons ... Finished an excellent 4th in the 2-Mile race at New Balance Nationals Outdoors with PR of 9:00.30 ..... Mickey Burke enters the 2013 XC season as the top-rated harrier in NY State.

TJ Hornberger 12 Lake Shore (Section 6 - Class B)

TJ Hornberger ran very well in 2011 and even better during the 2012 XC season ... he was 2nd at States (Class B) and 4th at NXN-NY Regional ... was also an excellent 3rd at the Manhattan Championship race (behind Edward Cheserek and Nick Ryan).

Set PRs at all distances in track including the 3200m (9:03.20), 1600m (4:15.82) and 800m (1:54.50) ... TJ Hornberger is serious challenger for the top spot in NY.

Bryce Millar 11 Fayetteville-Manlius (Section 3 - Class A)

Bryce Millar made a nice improvement from his freshmen to sophomore seasons in XC ... Last season, he was 4th at States (Class A) and 8th at NXN-NY Regional ... he was also 7th at the Manhattan Championship race ...... In track, Bryce was 5th at Indoor States where he set his 3200m PR (9:25.05) ... He will lead FM in their quest for a State title and another trip to NXN Nationals.

Set PRs at all distances in track including a fast 800m (1:53.16) and full Mile (4:19.6) ... Led off Carmel's DMR at New Balance Nationals Outdoors with a very good 3:07.81 (1200m).

In track, Mike finished 5th in the 1600m at Indoor States (4:19.47) ... Set his 3200m PR during the outdoor season (9:14.36) in addition to running a 4:16.0 DMR split at Penn Relays.

Ryan Udvadia had a much improved junior XC season in 2012 ... He won divisions at six invitational races and broke 16:00 at Sunken Meadow at the Section 11 Divisional Champ ... finished 17th at Feds ...... Popped some very good PRs during track ... Won the Loucks Games 3200m in excellent time (9:02.05) and was 3rd at States in the 3200m (9:10.24) ... set a Mile PR at Penn Relays (4:15.51) ... Expect Ryan to have an outstanding XC season in his senior year.
