| General Outlook
			... At least
six teams could be in the hunt for the sectional title ... This
could be the best race at sectionals!
			Tully
... Tully returns most of their sectional finishers ... Tully
appears to be co-favorite entering the season due to the inclusion
of transfer runner Kelseigh Groth (LaFayette's top runner who
finished 8th at States in Class D) ... Unfortunately, some
early-season injuries will not be helpful (but Nov 2nd is still a
			ways off).
			Canastota
			... Canastota returns some
talent runners (such as Leah McDowell, Francesca Popple
and Allison Lasnicki) ... Add in a healthy Gina Micaroni
			and Canastota becomes
co-favorite (and possibly the favorite entering sectionals).
			Skaneateles
... Loses their top three runners from last year's sectionals ...
			But Skaneateles still has plenty
of talent to contend for the win.
			CBA
... Loses some key runners to graduation (Francesca Minale and
Kristen Fekete), but return some good runners such as Katie
			Webster ... CBA is expected
to add some good "new blood" that will help the team (such as junior
Melissa Zajdel, who ran fast track times 400m (58) and 800m
			(2:20)). Pulaski
			... Pulaski loses just one
runner from last year's sectional team ... Good returning runners
			could make Pulaski a serious
			contender (such as
Kaitlyn Coon,  Kristin Helinger, Tessa Sheldon,
Trisha Clark and Karli Michalski ...
Pulaski ran well at the Beaver
Lake 5K in August. Sauquoit Valley
... Loses Samantha Stedman to graduation, but the return of some
good runners (such as Nicole VanEtten) will keep Sauquoit
			competitive ... Sauquoit
typically has a good junior high feeder program that may help.   |
