Boys Class C Race ... about 7 minutes into the race ... the top runners are still running in pack ... the front row (left to right) are Steve Corsello (Skanetateles, 3rd), John Nicotera (Sauquoit, 2nd) and winner Josh Arthur (South Lewis) ... just behind (in red) is Robert Perkins (South Lewis, 4th) ... also visible are Brent Powers (Holland Patent, 5th, #858), Aaron Sirtoli (Mt. Markham, 7th) and Lukas Aeschlimann (Mt.Markham, 6th)

Josh Arthur (South Lewis) opened up a nine second lead and won handily ... excellent performance by the South Lewis team as they placed four runners ahead of Sauquoit's second finisher.


Boys Class D Race ... about 600 meter into the race ... Tully's Lopez Lomong (race winner) and Dominic Luka (2nd) lead ... Lomong won comfortably in the fastest time of the day (15:52) ... it's hard to see in this photo, but Luka runs with a black wrap on his left knee (which was not 100%).	Boys Class D Race ... coming to the finish ... Derek MacKenzie (Weedsport, 3rd) and Randy Hadzor (Lafayette, 4th)

Matt Polus (Cooperstown, 5th), Mark MaCaskey (Richfield Sp, 6th) and Justin Munger (Beaver River, 7th)	Boys Class D Race ... coming to the finish ... freshman Tom Meixell (Tully, 8th) and Jake Romancik (Lafayette, 9th) ... good race performances by Meixell has really helped the team effort.


Boys Class A Race ... winner Bryan Buchanan (CNS) ... opened an early lead and won comfortably in a solo effort.	Boys Class A Race ... coming to the finish ... Jared Burdick (FM, 2nd) and Ben Adams (Central Square, 3rd)

Boys Class A Race ... coming to the finish ... Liverpool's Ben White (5th) and Mike Snihur (4th)	Boys Class A Race ... coming to the finish ... FM's Owen Kimple (8th) and Andrew McCann (7th)


Boys Class B Race ... winner Tim Hartnett (Westhill)	Boys Class B Race ... coming to the finish ... Ozzie Myers (Chittenango, 2nd) and Kevin Blaich (Westhill, 3rd) ... early in the race, Ozzie Myers's shoe was stepped on by a competitor and the shoe came off ... Ozzie stopped to put the shoe back on and lost significant time.

Boys Class B Race ... coming to the finish ... Mike Femia (VVS, 4th)	Boys Class B Race ... coming to the finish ... Patrick Hughes (Homer, 6th) and Ryan Miling (VVS, 5th)

Girls Class C Race ... winner Nichole Lister (South Jefferson) ... Nichole's winning time (18:12) was not only the fastest girl's time of the day, it was a remarkable performance (one minute and 20 seconds ahead of 2nd place) ... Nichole went out strongly and opened an early lead ... she ran all 3 miles hard which is something she rarely does ... Nichole is the clear favorite to win States and is a real contender at Federations.

Girls Class C Race ... coming to the finish ... Julie Lynch (Skaneateles, 2nd) finishes ahead of Jessica O'Neill (Skaneateles, 3rd), Amberlyn Mattice (Solvay, 5th) and Carly Calogero (Sauquoit, 4th)


Girls Class D Race ... winner Lauren Moser (Beaver River) ... won with another solo effort on the lead ... she is the defending State Class D champion	Girls Class D Race ... Adrienne Gagnier (Beaver River, 2nd)	Girls Class D Race ... Chelsea Nuffer (Beaver River, 3rd)


Girls Class A Race ... winner Brittany Crawford (FM) ... led the entire race in a solo effort	Girls Class A Race ... Nicki Junod (CNS, 2nd)	Girls Class A Race ... coming to the finish ... Elizabeth McMahon (West Genesee, 3rd) and Brittany Wilder (Liverpool, 4th)


Girls Class B Race ... winner Ashley Hughes (Phoenix) ... another start-to-finish winner	Girls Class B Race ... about 8 minutes into the race ... Marcy Van Arnam (Westhill, 2nd) leads Alison Lesher (VVS, 3rd) and Kathryn Niedzwiecki (Westhill, 4th)
