BOYS Varsity Race

About 3:30 into the race, Lopez Lomong (Tully), Bryan Buchanan (CNS) and Dominic Luka (Tully) are running together ... they have already separated themselves from the large field of 261 runners. About 7:10 into the race, Lopez Lomong (Tully) and Dominic Luka (Tully) have opened about a 30 meter lead on Bryan Buchanan (CNS) .
About 12:00 into the race, Lopez Lomong (Tully) has opened a lead on Dominic Luka (Tully). Winner Lopez Lomong (Tully) coming to the finish line nearly 17 seconds ahead of Dominic Luka (Tully, 2nd) and 27 seconds ahead of Bryan Buchanan (CNS, 3rd)
Good stretch finish between Ben Adams (Central Sq, 5th) and Ben White (Liverpool, 4th) Owen Kimple (FM,  6th), Mike Snihur (Liverpool, 7th) and Pat Stagnitta (CNS, 8th)

 

GIRLS Varsity Race

About 4 minutes into the race ... eventual winner Brittany Crawford (FM) has a slight lead on Ashley Hughes (Phoenix, 5th) ... just behind them are Amberlyn Mattice (Solvay, 3rd), Nicki Junod (CNS, 2nd) and Julie Lynch (Skaneateles, 9th) ... further back is Marie Parks (CNS, 4th) and Kristen Taylor (FM, 6th)
About 8:30 minutes into the race ... Brittany Crawford (FM) has opened a lead of nearly 80 meters on the field. About 8:30 minutes into the race ... Nicki Junod (CNS, 2nd) has opened a lead on the next group.
Coming to the finish ... Amberlyn Mattice (Solvay, 3rd, right) edges Marie Parks (CNS, 4th) Coming to the finish ... Kristen Taylor (FM, 6th) in another good performance.
Coming to the finish ... Elizabeth McMahon (West Genesee, 8th) Coming to the finish ... Jessica O'Neill (Skan, 14th) leads Marcy Van Arnam (Westhill, 15th) and Zandra Walton (Skan, 16th) ... also in the back is Erica Geihe (Skan, 19th) ... Skaneateles placed five runners in team scoring positions 9 through 21 to win the team title.
 
Larkin Kimmerer (Fabius, 9th) and Kristin Fekete (CBA, 12th) both ran very well
