Girls I race ... nearly half the race complete ... from left to right are Sheila Reifinger (Oswego, 2nd, 19:47), Alyssa Riehle (Webster Thomas, the race winner, 19:28) and Nicole Howard (Watertown IHC, 3rd, 20:00) ... Alyssa Riehle is a 12-year old 8th grader - she opened a comfortable lead in the final mile and won by 19 seconds in a very impressive effort.
