Girls Class B ... winner Elizabeth Maloy (Holy Names, 18:38.4) ... she was in complete control and won impressively! Girls Class B ... runner-up Toni-Lynn Salucci (Shoreham Wading River, 19:05.6) Girls Class B ... Lynn Kubeja (Honeoye Falls Lima, 3rd 19:19.2) led her team to the class title. Girls Class B ... Ashley Hughes (Phoenix, 4th, 19:29.4)

 

Girls Class C ... winner Laura DeWitt (Rhinebeck, 19:39.8) Girls Class C ... runner-up Jessica O'Neill (Marcellus, 19:55.3) Girls Class C ... Jaclyn Gaines (Pearl River, 3rd, 20:04.6) Girls Class C ... Erica Wiles (Rhinebeck, 4th, 20:13.6) Girls Class C ... left to right are Liz Ludovici (South Lewis, 8th), Kylee Jordan (Lansing, 7th) and Courtney Beadore (South Lewis, 6th) ... Ludovici, Beadore and Carly Calogero (Sauquoit, 5th) helped Section 3 win the team title.

 

Girls Class D ... winning Argyle team at the starting line (five 7th graders and two 9th graders) Girls Class D ... Caitlin Lane (5th, 19:45.8) was the top Argyle finisher Girls Class D ... Emily Fung (6th, 19:55.8) ran an excellent race to help Argyle win.

 

Girls Class D ... winner Lauren Moser (Beaver River, 19:07.3) ... another impressive win! Girls Class D ... runner-up Heather Iatauro (Tri-Valley, 19:15.8) ... Heather won this race in 2000. Girls Class D ... Catha Mullen (Bronxville, 3rd, 19:27.7)

 

Girls Class A ... start of the race ... Nicole Blood (Saratoga, maroon jerseys) leads the Saratoga runners ... Nicole led the race at the 2-mile mark near Cardiac Hill, but then disappeared and did not finish ... apparently, she took a wrong turn while on the lead ... but Saratoga still won easily.
Girls Class A ... winner Laura Cummings (Bayshore, 18:28.0) ... she's been sensational this year! Girls Class A ... Caitlin McTague (Niskayuna, 2nd, 18:33.5) ... excellent effort! Girls Class A ... Kaylan Kemick (Arlington, 3rd, 19:02.1) Girls Class A ... Meghan Rowcliffe (Churchville, 4th, 19:08.6) Girls Class A ... Brittney Criscuolo (East Meadow, 5th, 19:18.5)

 

Boys Class B ... winner Brian Dalpiaz (Sayville, 16:11.4) ... Dalpiaz won handily and was in control from start to finish Boys Class B ... runner-up Rick Lader (Southern Cayuga, 16:31.4) ... Rick has had an outstanding senior year. Boys Class B ... Kyle Heath (Victor, 3rd, 16:35.9)

 

Boys Class C ... winner Lopez Lomong (Tully, 16:07.6) and runner-up Dominick Luka (Tully, 16:10.5) ... they had the 4th and 5th fastest times of the day ... the Tully duo opened a lead going up Cardiac Hill and next few hundred meters Boys Class C ... pre-race favorite Brendan Fennell (Pearl River, 3rd, 16:12.9) was closing strongly in the final straight-away, but the Tully runners held on gamely after expending the energy to open a lead.

 

Boys Class C ... Peter Kane (Rhinebeck, 4th, 16:55.0) and Bryan Morseman (Addison, 5th, 16:57.0) Boys Class C ... the Sauquoit Valley pack ... John Nicotera (7th, 17:03.2), Alan Merrick (6th, 17:02.1) and Ben Dever (8th, 17:03.6) ... Dan Tickner (Bishop Ludden, 9th, 17:08.2), another Section 3 runner follows ...

 

Boys Class D ... winner Andrew Whitbeck (East Rochester, 16:43.3) was an easy winner (could have run much faster if needed) Boys Class D ... Alex Jinks (Pavilion, 2nd, 17:00.8) leads Sean Sullivan (Port Jeff, 4th, 17:03.4) and Kane Seamon (Richfield Springs, 3rd, 17:01.3)

 

Boys Class A ... winner Hakon Devries (John Jay EF, 16:02.2) leads Kevin Tschirhart (Northport, 3rd, 16:07.1) and Mark Alizzi (Syosset, 2nd, 16:06.6) ... DeVries pulled away in the final stretch to win impressively and record the fastest time of the day (Tschirhart and Alizzi had the next two fastest times) Boys Class A ... Jacob Gurzler (4th, 16:20.5) was the top finisher for the winning Shenendehowa team
