About 7:15 into the Boys Varsity I race ... (left to right) Dan McKenna (Liverpool), Lopez Lomong (Tully), Jeff Belge (Central Sq) and Dominick Luka (Tully) have a sizeable lead on the rest of the field ... With about 800 meters remaining, Luka & Lomong opened a 4 second lead on McKenna with Jeff about 20 seconds further behind ... Dominick finished 1st, Lopez 2nd, Dan 3rd and Jeff 4th

At the finish ... Dominick Luka (Tully, 15:37.7) puts on a burst of speed to edge Lopez Lomong (Tully, 15:38.4) ... their finishing times (and Dan McKenna's, 15:43.2) broke the existing course record (15:49 by Jason Meany, CBA, in 1996)

About 7:30 into the Boys Varsity II race ... Tom Caracci (Tully) currently leads eventual winner Alan Merrick (Sauquoit) who is second ... Lief Brunet (Tully) is fourth (he finished 2nd)

Kayleigh Wheeless (Westhill) winning the Girls Varsity I race by over 20 seconds	Kassie Simmons (Corning) finished 2nd in the Girls Varsity I race ... Meaghan McAnaney (Westhill) finished 4th	Nichole Lister (South Jefferson) finishing 3rd in Girls Varsity I race ... Nichole does not like running in the hot weather (temperature was over 80 deg F at the start of the Girls' races which were run after all the boys races.

About 800 meters remaining in the Girls Varsity II race ... eventual winner Chelsea McGuire (Liverpool, on left) and runner-up Kathryn Niedzwiecki (Westhill)
