Sportsmanship Award at the
State Meet
Each representative nominates a senior who has exhibited the qualities of sportsmanship.
Representatives may email any of the coordinators through out the season. Final nominations
must submitted in writing at the Sectional meet. The nominee must advance to the state meet
in
order to qualify.

Future
proposals for Sectional Meet Site
A motion was made for practical reasons to accept proposals at the August preseason meeting
so that coaches can view the courses during the season. The committee would be flexible and
accept additional
proposals at the post-season meeting.
VVS is interested in hosting for 2006.
11. Conflicting dates Sectionals and
The chairmen presented a proposal to change the day of Sectionals to Friday instead of Saturday.
Our proposal was defeated 54-35.
Since many athletes want to take the test twice before December. Committee members brainstormed
and presented alternative schedules to
accommodate more runners to take
the meeting, the chairmen met with Dick Bader from Section
keep trying. We developed a plan to attend four meetings and to contact various committee members
and use
their expertise to help solve the conflict.
