The NYS
Cross-Country All-State teams were determined by analyzing the results of the
entire season with emphasis on the Championship season: Federation Meet, CHSAA
Championship, PSAL Championship, NYSPHSAA Championship and the AIS
Championship; the FLNE Regionals and the Footlocker National Championship. The Sectional
meets are also considered. Then a look at the major Invitationals: Great American, Manhattan College, Mc Quaid, Brown and St. Anthony’s fall into this category. All meets
“count” but the better the competition the greater the weight of consideration.
