Qualifying for the NY Outdoor State Track & Field Championship Meet

Qualifying Procedures ...

Each section must designate their State Qualifier meet.

First place finisher in each individual event and relay from the following divisions will advance to the state meet:

 ... Division I (schools greater than 600 sports enrollment)
 ... Division II (less the 600 enrollment).

A section may send another athlete or relay team in any event providing they meet the  State Qualifying Standard as listed below ... A section can only send one additional entry for each event (not one per division) ... The standard must be met at any meet starting the last weekend in April ... Only performances from invitational meets (5 or more teams) will be accepted (NO dual meet performances) ... If both 2nd-place finishers at the State Qualifier (from Division I and Division II) have met the qualifying standard, the better 2nd-place finisher at the qualifier advances.

CHANGE ... State Meet SEED TIMES (for all entries) may come from meets starting the last weekend in April.
