Lopez arrived at the meet late (was taking ACT tests) and ran just a comfortable pace to win easily in 4:27.8 (won by about 19 seconds) ... he repeated the effort in the 3200 meters winning easily (9:50.5) ... Lopez was 3rd in the Triple Jump ... at the end of this long meet, Lopez ran the second leg (49.8) on Tully's winning 4x400 relay (3:33.1) (same split as Dominic Luka). |
