Some Additional Photos of the Distance Races ... these photos (as well as the photos on the other pages) are crops and reduced sizes and resolutions of the actual digital photos ... the full (raw, un-cropped and un-enhanced) photo files directly from the camera (either a Canon 10D or a SONY DSC-F717) are large JPG files (typically 2-3 MB in size each) ... All photos are post-processed with Adobe Photoshop Elements (cropping to cut off unwanted sections of the photo; enhancing brightness, contrast, colors and sharpness; size and resolution reduction to save download times and web space) ... All photos posted on the web are processed for web display - they are NOT processed for optimal printing!  If you have a fast Internet connection, I can e-mail higher resolution versions of the photos for those interested.
