Section 3 teams attending included Tully (girls), Solvay and CBA ...
conditions were very warm, sunny and windy (helping the sprint events). For the girls competition, Kela Jackson (Wilson) won four individual events including the 100 meter dash (11.8), 200 meter dash (25.2), long jump (17-6.5) and triple jump (35-3.5) ... Kela ran 11.7 in the 100 meter semi-final (her dash times were aided by a 15 mph tail-wind). |
