Note From FM Coach Bill Aris:
On Friday August 21 in a NYC hospital, Alex Hatz of
Fayetteville-Manlius underwent a surgical procedure to correct a defect
involving the connective 'plumbing' to one of his kidneys. The procedure was
completed successfully and without complication. Alex was in good spirits Friday
evening and resting in his hospital room.
He will spend a few days in the NYC hospital recuperating, followed by a few
weeks of 'taking it easy' back home in Manlius. A complete recovery is expected,
followed by a gradual return to normal activities, including running, which he
expects to commence by late September.

During a phone call, Coach Aris noted that Alex wants to return to help his team for the championship races ... Alex Hatz is a true Stotan (but we all knew that) ... His return to running will be gradual.
