The OHSL (Onondaga High School League) Championships are separated into three divisions (A-1, A-2, and B/C/D school sizes) ... most races are separated by division ... the long races (1500m, 3000m) are mixed

 

3000 Meter Run (Seeded Section) ... about 600 meters into the race ... winner Marie Parks (CNS, 10:29.62) leads Nana Sang Bender (Onondaga, 2nd, 10:30.61), Nicole Page (FM, 3rd, 10:56.83), Emily Bome (Onondaga, 4th, 11:09.66) and Larkin Kimmerer (Fabius-Pompey) ... Nana Sang Bender set a big PR by staying close to Parks through much of the race ... Marie Parks negative split the 1500s, but was well off her own PR in a comfortable winning effort.
