The OHSL (Onondaga High School League) Championships are separated into three divisions (A-1, A-2, and B/C/D school sizes) ... most races are separated by division ... the long races (1500m, 3000m) are mixed

600 Meter Run (A-2 div) ... at the finish ... Owen Kimple (FM, 1:25.70) barely edges Shilah Richardson (Auburn, 1:25.71) in a good driving finish ... Kimple trailed early, but closed in the final lap to win ... earlier in the evening, Kimple won the A2 division of the 1000 Meter Run (2:45.40)

1600 Meter Run ... approaching 600m in the seeded race (all divisions were mixed) ... through much of the race, a three-some of Tommy Gruenewald (FM, 4:33.88), Josh Arthur (South Lewis, 4:35.58) and John Heron (FM, 4:37.68) led the race with a small gap back to winner Ben White (Liverpool, 4:33.03) in fourth-position ... This was a tactical race with fairly slow early splits ... at 800m (2:18.9), Ben White trailed the top three by about 12 meters ...

1600 Meter Run ... rounding the stretch turn with one more lap remaining ... Tommy Gruenewald (FM, 4:33.88) leads Josh Arthur (South Lewis, 4:35.58), John Heron (FM, 4:37.68) and Ben White (Liverpool, 4:33.03)

1600 Meter Run ... coming to the finish ... Ben White (Liverpool, 4:33.03) wins with Tommy Gruenewald (FM, 4:33.88) second ... in 4th position with 200 meters to go, White ran his final 200 meters in about 29.3
