Championship meet (which was postponed the previous week due to bad weather)
was contested as two class meets (Class A and Class BCD) ... most races were
separated by class ... the meet was run in conjunction with the Boy's Select
Meet ... Instead of the normal sectional order of events, the girl's meet
used the Select Meet order which is different.
A heavy snow fall prevented some schools from
attending this meet ... Ashley Hughes (Phoenix) was a dual winner in
the Class BCD 1500 meters (4:50.27) and 3000 meters (10:32.88) ... |
