Katie Wilmer (CNS) seta new Section 3 pole vault record of 10-5 1/2 ... Three girls cleared 5-5 or higher in the high jump (six girls cleared 5-0 or higher) ... Marie Parks (CNS), Brittany Crawford (FM) and Jessica O'Neill ran very good 3000 meter times ... Nicki Junod (CNS) won the 1000 meter race (3:06.7) and finished a good fourth in the 1500m (5:03.5) ... Fetima Fields (CNS) won both the 55m hurdles (8.5) and long jump (16-11 1/4)

1000 Meter Run ... approaching 400m .. Zandra Walton (Skan) leads Carissa Jones (MPH), Meghan Nolan (Liv), Taryn Menard (CNS) and eventual winner Nicki Junod (CNS) ... Junod closed strongly on the final lap to win ... Lauren Noble (Little Falls) ran near the back much of the race, but closed very well to finish third (Lauren has been accepted to Columbia University).
